I smiled. “Yeah, I do. I will take you…” My eyes darted across the room. “I’ll take them too,” I pointed.

I felt my uncle’s palms on my shoulders. “That’s my boy! Ladies step over,” Uncle Mick ordered.

“Hey Glenda!” A woman appeared from the kitchen.

She strutted toward us, wearing a clingy black short dress. She tossed her black hair over her shoulder.

“We will be here a while. Send my regular to my room.”

“Of course, Mick.” Her gray eyes smiled back.

I absorbed everything I could from those three women. Over the years, I returned, fucking the two black beauties, Candy and Natasha. I enjoyed our time together. I could fuck them without all the drama, just fun.

Being a football jock, brought tons of pussy. I could sniff out a crazy chic. When I considered fucking a high school girl, I kept it in the forefront of my mind the possible drama they would bring.

Standing in the back corner of the locker room, I stared into Melody’s brown eyes. “Listen, I’m going to fuck you and that is it. Don’t get in your fucking feelings.”

She smiled eagerly. “Yeah, Tony. I’m ready for you.” Her pink lips melted against mine. Unzipping my pants, I whipped out my long, fat, hard cock, slipping a condom over the fat head, down the shaft. Melody slipped her panties off from under her short burgundy cheerleading skirt, pushing them deep into my jeans pocket. Hoisting her up into my arms, I slammed her against the blue lockers. I pushed deep into her wet pussy. Gripping her ass tight, I slammed into her repeatedly.

  “Yes!” she yelled.

Pinning her against the locker, I held one hand over her mouth. “Shut that pouty little mouth and take this dick.”

Her brown eyes were wild with pleasure. They were also wild with something else I couldn’t quite see after I fucked her good.

  CHAPTER THREE

  TONY

Melody began showing up at my house after school. She begged to suck my dick in the bushes on the side of my house. Of course, I let her suck my cock every time. I messed around with other girls but none as crazy as Melody.

Bursting through the school doors, I walked toward the parking lot. I waved at my teammates on the way to my gray pickup truck. I did a double take. Melody stood on the hood of my truck, blonde hair swept up into a messy ponytail, holding a Louisville slugger.

“You will never fuck another bitch in this school or next time this will be your balls I split!” she spit.

Pulling the bat over her head, she smirked at me.

“Get the fuck down off the truck, Melody!”

Kids stopped in their tracks around the parking lot, gawking at crazy ass Melody. She brought the bat down with all her might against my windshield. She slammed the bat against the windshield several times. Dropping my duffel bag to the ground, I ran, climbing onto the hood of the truck pulling her to the ground. She fell into my arms sobbing. “It’s me and you forever, Tony!”

Two teachers and the principal rushed the stairs, running toward us. The principal ripped her from my arms. What had I done? What I did was fucked the wrong girl. She was crazy for me and my dick.

“Tony, in my office now!” Principal Glennrode shouted.

After sitting in the corner of the principal’s office for an hour, my mother appeared, eyes wide. She yelled at me in Italian. Telling me to keep my dick out of these young girls. Swiping my hand, back and forth along my forehead, I stared out the window, taking the tongue lashing. Melody sat across the office with her mom and dad. My mother turned to her.

“You can’t fuck a high school boy and get in your feelings.” Her brunette hair swayed against her shoulders. “Get over him, now. You will never step to my son again or else.”

Melody’s eyes widened. Her mother pulled her into her arms.

“We know who you are!” her father said standing towering over my mother.

She didn’t back down. She stood chest to chest with him.

The principal stood shouting from behind his desk, telling them to settle down.

My head turned, staring open mouthed at the man towering in the door way. “So, you say you know who she is.”

Uncle Sergio grabbed Melody’s father up by his suit lapels. “If you know who she is, then you should have remained in your fucking seat. Keep your hot in the pants daughter away from my nephew or else!” he snarled.

The rage in Sergio’s eyes told Melody’s father everything. The man was beet red. I’m sure he wanted no parts of what my family was giving out. Early graves.

Uncle Sergio released Melody’s father, turning to the principal. “We’re done here.”

  Principal Glennrode shook his head.

Like I said, my uncles became my fathers.

Melody never spoke to me again. When we walked the same hall, she looked away. Needless to say, I was done fucking high school girls after crazy Melody. I kept my nose in my books until graduation.

  ∞

Gio and I began our work full time after graduation. Our work entailed kicking the shit out of guys who owed us money and murdering those who crossed the Magarelli’s. At eighteen, I became a made man. Not sure what a made man meant for me. I was always untouchable. My uncles made that clear.

Uncle Geno made it to New Jersey for the special occasion. He runs Rhode Island. He’s the oldest boy of Anthony, Mick, and Sergio. Let’s say he wasn’t happy with my grandfather’s decision to make Sergio the mob boss of New Jersey. He wanted his own, so he moved his family to Rhode Island. As long as my grandfather makes a profit off of Geno’s businesses, my grandfather is satisfied. Uncle Geno and my father resemble each other too much. They both wore their dark hair shoulder length. He has a clef chin, bushy dark brows, and face clean shaven. He’s about 6’4” and stalky.

His wife Carmela is a bombshell. She accompanied him on the trip. Carmela visited with my mother, helping her pack for the move to Colorado. Not only was I becoming a made man, I was losing part of my family. My mother held out as long as she could. She was moving my brother and sister to Colorado. I understood though. She loved my father with every fiber of her being. There would be no other man to take his place. And believe me, men tried. My mother is a short spit fire with long beautiful brunette hair and beautiful blue eyes. My father often joked about all the men he crushed with his fist for just looking at my mother. The way her beautiful eyes smiled at you would make your heart swell. I wanted my mother to find peace. So, I stepped aside and let her move on with her life.

Uncle Geno stood in the middle of the bar, raising a glass of champagne. “I would like to propose a toast to my nephew Anthony Jr.”

My uncles and our family’s army of men surrounded us in the small dreary bar.

“Your father would be proud of how you protect this family. I know it makes him proud.”

Holding my glass high, I choked back the tears. I wanted so much for my father to be their sharing in my special moment. I’m thankful for my family though. They never left me alone, always there to listen and offer advice.

“Salute!” rang out around the bar.

We tossed the champagne to the back of our throats.

“Anthony, let me talk to you a sec.” Uncle Geno walked toward me.

Uncle Mick blocked his path. “Anything you want to say to Tony, you can say to me.”

Geno smirked staring between us both. I didn’t understand what the big deal was about Uncle Geno talking to me in private. Uncle Mick opened the door to the back office. “Step inside Geno, Tony.”

Mick closed the door behind us. “Have a seat,” he said glancing at both of us.

Mick sat on the corner of the mahogany desk. “Geno, Sergio and I are aware of your problem.”

Geno stretched his arms out. “Come on Mick.”

Mick raised his hand. “Listen, you decided to move away and run Rhode Island all because you didn’t like Dad’s decision to make Sergio the boss. Now any problems you have going on in your territory, you need to ha
ndle. Tony handles problems for us here in New Jersey, not Rhode Island.”

I sat listening. Geno ran his fingers through his long hair, then adjusted his red tie. He sat brooding.

“Geno, send your men here. Tony and Gio will train them. Then you will have your own army to fight for you.”

Mick stood. “How does that sound?”

Geno stepped toward Mick. “I need to get rid of the problem now,” he seethed.

“I understand. However, Tony ain’t doing no job for you. Is your best man with you?”

  “Yeah.”

Uncle Mick glared at me. “Tony, tomorrow you will train…” Mick glanced at Geno.

  “Corey.”

“Tony, you will train Corey to do what you do. Capisce?”

  “Capisce.”

  Uncle Geno was still brooding.

“Tony, go enjoy your party. I’m going to talk to my brother a moment.”

“Yeah,” I flattened my black tie against the crisp white shirt then left the office, stepping to the bar, signaling the bartender for a drink.

I wasn’t sure what that was about, but I would not stray from what uncle Mick told me to do.

The next day, I trained Corey to be an invisible hit man of Rhode Island, but not from me. I never wanted to chance my Uncle Geno being so bitter he would send his man after me one day.

Sunday afternoon, relaxing on the couch, watching football all day is my idea of a great day.

I glanced at my buzzing phone on the coffee table. My eyes darted between the score on the TV screen to the phone screen. The name across the screen flashed Francine. Quickly, I answered the call sitting straight up.

  Hello, Fran. How are you?

I’m well. Your uncle is out of town. How about you come over for dinner?

It wasn’t a question it was a statement. I didn’t bother asking if our other guys were there. I think Fran felt better having family around when uncle Serg was out of town.

Sure thing, Fran. I’ll be right over. I’ll bring cannoli.

I heard her sigh. Thank you. Tony! The boys will be excited to see you.

I circled the block, searching for any suspicious cars or people. I nodded at Merv as he drove by. Our men perform checks of the neighborhood every couple of hours. The massive mansion’s black wrought-iron gates opened. I drove inside waving to the men walking the grounds.

  I dialed Uncle Serg’s number.

  Hey, Tony!

  Uncle Serg, how is D.C.?

These old men want to be invited to the private party. I told them I’m not responsible for anyone dropping dead of a heart attack. He released a hearty laugh.

  I laughed.

While the party is going on, I have a meeting scheduled with some important men. We will discuss the important details of my Mayoral and then Governor candidacy to come.

Sounds good, Uncle Serg. I just arrived at the house. I’m having dinner with Fran and the boys.

Good. Tell the boys I will call them soon. Mrs. Magarelli and I will have deeper discussion later tonight. He chuckled.

Uncle Serg, never a dull moment with you. I smiled.

  Talk to you later, Tony.

  Ok. I disconnected the call.

“Tony! Mom said you were joining us for dinner,” Dillon said, slamming his fist into my shoulder.

“Is that all you got?” I gave him a soft upper cut to his chin. “Dillon, you always have to be ready.” I shut the front double doors.

“Yeah, Tone. I got it. I got it.”

I placed my hands on his shoulders. “I swear you are getting taller every time I see you.”

“Dad said I will be 6’4 in no time.”

I pointed my finger toward him. “True statement. Where is Dom?”

He glared at me in route to the family room. “Tony, you know the answer. He’s gaming. If he didn’t have to eat and piss, I swear he wouldn’t leave his bedroom.”

  We both laughed.

“Dillon, turn on the sports channel. I need highlights. I’m going to talk to your mom a minute.”

“Yeah, no problem.” He dropped on the black leather sofa.

I stepped into the kitchen. “Hello, Fran. Dinner smells great.” I stood over the stove inhaling the goodness of the spaghetti alla carbonara.”

Fran removed the cannoli from my hand. “Thank you. Go wash up for dinner.”

I strolled toward the bathroom down the hall from the kitchen.

Fran walked to the bottom of the stairs. “Dominic, time for dinner.”

  “Coming, Mom!” he yelled.

The maid set the dinning room table in the elaborate gold dining room.

I savored the taste of the carbonara.

“Tony, do you want to play me in Smack Down?” Dominic grinned.

I pointed my fork toward him. “You think you can beat me?”

  “Tony, I know I can!”

Dillon and I looked at each other.

“Dominic, you’re not going to beat me.” I sipped the glass of red wine. “Dillon, you play the winner.”

  He laughed. “You’re on!”

Fran smiled over the brim of her wine glass staring at her sons.

“Mom, can I be excused? I need to set the game up.”

  “Yes, Dominic.”

He flew out of the room and up the stairs.

“Mom, I’m grabbing a cannoli then I’m headed upstairs too.”

  “Ok,” she laughed.

“Fran, I will help you clear the table.”

She nodded, rising from the head of the table. She stared at the chair at the other end of the table.

Dillon vanished upstairs. I gathered dishes.

  “Fran, is everything all right?”

“Yeah, yeah. I hate when Sergio is away.”

“I talked to Uncle Sergio before I walked into the house. He said he’ll call the boys, then speak to you later.”

Her skin turned flush. “Thanks, for telling me.” I can guess what their conversation will be about. Uncle Sergio is the only man in this family besides my father who loved his wife more than life itself. I doubt I will ever find love. I’m not interested in relationships. All women want a relationship with a man, eventually.

I followed Fran into the kitchen.

“Tony, what kind of future do you want? Do you want a family?”

“No. I’m pretty busy protecting this family. I don’t have time to fall in love. What I want,” I hesitated. “Never mind.” I placed the dishes on the kitchen counter.

She turned toward me. “Tony, talk to me.”

I glanced into her big brown eyes then looked away.

“Can I confide in you about something?” I met her gaze.

  “Yes, Tony.”

“I want out of this life. I want to make my destiny in California, preferably.” I shook my head. “It doesn’t matter. Forget I ever said anything.” I ran my hand over my hair. “There is no getting out of this life.”

  The maid entered the kitchen.

“Tony, this is between us I promise.” She pulled me into her arms.

  The maid began cleaning.

“I’m going to head up stairs and beat your son at his own game.”

Fran’s large brown curls danced around her shoulders as she burst into laughter. “I don’t know Tony. Best of luck.”

  CHAPTER FOUR

  TONY

I developed my own dating system involving various women. Often, I met women while I was at various clubs each of the four families owned. The women who frequent Uncle Micks night club, are usually easy on the eyes. They are often looking for nothing more than a one-night stand. A quick hookup in the backseat of my truck in the parking lot works. Sometimes I take women back to my apartment in downtown Newark if this is a repeat hookup. I never take a woman back to my family’s home after the Melody shit.

I preferred messing around with women across town. Keeping them at a distance not allowing them access kept the possibility of cr
azy at bay.

  ∞

Giovanni and I sat at our reserved table in VIP, along the balcony, on a Friday night like we often did at uncle Micks night club. Gio and I handled problems after hours in the gaming room. Sometimes guys decided they would not pay their debt. Gio and I pounded their heads into the pavement until they came to their senses. I laughed at the thought. The view of the front door, dance floor, bar, and the door to the gaming room were all visible from where we sat. Giovanni rambled about one of his women as my eyes scanned the club. A short beautiful mocha woman and her friend made themselves comfortable at the bar. Her face lit up due to something her friend said. My eyebrows wrinkled. What did her friend say to make her smile? I would love the opportunity to make her smile.

Never peeling my eyes away, I slammed my whiskey down my throat. “Gio, I’ll be right back.”, I strolled downstairs through the crowd towards the bar. I made eye contact with the bartender.

“Hey, this seat is reserved! Find another seat,” the bartender said to the guy sitting next to the woman.

  The guy stepped away.

I nodded my head to the bartender as I slid in next to her.

  “Excuse me, Miss.”

She halted her conversation with her friend, then turned to me. “Yes.”

“I need to see your ID. The police raided our club recently. I’m spot checking IDs. Not to worry. I’m sure you aren’t under age,” I grinned.

Her smile faded. She dug into her compact black purse, retrieving her ID.

“I showed my ID at the door.”

“I understand. Sometimes people show fake IDs,” I shrugged.

She placed her identification card in my hand. Her friend asked her what was wrong.

I glanced at her then back at the ID card. She rubbed her arm.

Placing one hand on the bar, I leaned close to her ear. “I need to see your real ID or I’ll have security escort you out.”
